It can, and we plan for it. Calgary winters run cold, often well below freezing, with around 130 cm of snow a year, and the city's Chinook winds can swing the temperature 15 to 25 degrees in a few hours. That kind of rapid change is exactly what causes condensation on cold electronics. We wrap and pad every device, keep hardware dry and sealed in transit, and let equipment reach room temperature before it powers back on, so nothing is damaged moving between a cold loading dock and a warm floor. Snow and ice on docks and walkways are part of the day-of plan too.
