CERTIFIED DATA DESTRUCTION

CERTIFIED DATA DESTRUCTION

Your Data Remains Secure, Always.

Your Data Remains Secure, Always.

Data destruction is the permanent, irreversible removal of data from storage devices –– hard drives, SSDs, tape drives, and flash drives. When done properly, the process ensures that all your data is permanently removed ensuring your company isn't at risk of data theft.

Deleting files does not destroy data. Formatting drives does not destroy data. Throwing a drive on the ground does not destroy data. Get it destroyed properly.

Destruction Methods

Two Ways to Keep Your Data Secure

Our team of IT experts will provide you with recommendations based on your security requirements, device types, and whether you plan to repurpose or recycle assets.

Method 01

Software Wiping with BitRaser

Complete data erasure using certified wiping software. Fast, verified, and fully documented.

How It Works

BitRaser multi-pass overwrite certified to NIST 800-88 standards

Works on HDDs, SSDs and NVMes

Certificate of Wipe issued for every drive upon request

Method 02

Physical Shredding

Drives are permanently destroyed. The most reliable way to destroy 100% of your data. Works for all device types.

How It Works

Industrial-sized shredder reduces drives to small metal fragments

Works on HDDs, SSDs, tape drives, flash drives and optical media

Certificates of Destruction issued upon request

Maximum Security: Wipe, Then Shred

For the highest level of data destruction assurance, we first wipe your drives with BitRaser, then physically shred them. Recommended for organizations with strict compliance requirements.

The cost is determined by the volume of assets as well as the destruction methods. Physical shredding costs more but provides the best security for your data.
Yes, we offer on-site wiping and shredding. For high-security environments with a lot of classified data, doing the work on-site is recommended.
NIST Special Publication 800-88 Rev. 1 is the US federal guideline for media sanitization. It defines three levels (Clear, Purge, and Destroy) based on data sensitivity. All our destruction methods comply with this standard.
Yes. SSDs can have their data wiped clean at the firmware level and they can be physically shredded. For SSDs that have sensitive data on them, we recommend physical shredding.
Yes. Every client that does any form of asset destruction through our service can request certified documentation as proof of what was destroyed.
Once drives are shredded, the fragments go to certified recycling facilities where the materials are separated and reused. Powerful magnets pull out ferrous metals like steel, which gets melted down at steel mills for new production. Eddy current separators charge and eject non-ferrous metals like aluminum, which go back into new products. Plastics are processed into pellets for manufacturing. Circuit boards are sent to specialist refiners who recover precious metals like gold, palladium, and copper. Rare earth elements from the drive magnets are also recovered where possible. Nothing usable ends up in a landfill.
Drive wiping overwrites data so it cannot be recovered, but the physical drive remains a functional asset. Drive destruction refers to physical shredding, where both the data and the drive are rendered unusable.
Two levels of assurance: Certificate of Destruction with serial numbers documented as auditable proof, and optional witnessing of destruction on-site where your team watches every drive go through a shredder.
