A small office (20-50 workstations) typically takes 1-3 weeks including all recycling processes. A full floor or multi-floor decommission project can take anywhere from 3-6 weeks, depending on scope and number of floors. We work backwards from your lease deadline and build a comprehensive schedule with the right-sized team to get it done on time.
Yes, we can manage the full scope of your office decommissioning. Technology hardware goes through our ITAD program, and office furniture is coordinated through our furniture removal and recycling partners. We also bring in electricians and other specialists to ensure everything is being done to code. Our team manages everything so nothing falls through the cracks.
If it is in good condition then it can be either directed to donation programs, repurposed or recycled. Damaged or unsafe items are recycled. We do not want anything going to landfills so we do whatever we can to make sure every item is taken care of in an environmentally responsible manner.
We can help with that as well. Our secure data destruction (NIST 800-88) is standard for every decommission project. Hard drives and other media storage devices are inventoried, destroyed and issued a Certificate of Destruction upon request.
Yes. We routinely decommission offices while other tenants occupy the surrounding spaces. We schedule work on weekends and evenings to minimize disruption and we coordinate with building management for freight elevator and loading dock access.
Yes. We often remove thousands of feet of cable from the walls and ceilings of offices. Cables are recycled in a responsible manner.
