Sephora
Two days. A cleaner rack on the other side.
Sephora requested assistance with organizing their communication and server racks, along with relocating an incorrectly routed electrical whip. This task required a scheduled power-down of all network and server equipment, with a limited timeframe for completion.
OUR SOLUTION
A pre-mapped plan, executed without a single re-patch.
01
Mapped before we touched anything
Built a network diagram and port map of every existing connection across the comm and server racks, so any anomaly mid-project had a single source of truth to check against.
02
Sequenced every move, broke down the materials list, and aligned the team on the patch panel and switch end state before the power-down started.
03
Thin, color-coded cabling for permanent visibility
Swapped thick patch cables for ultra-thin runs and color-coded them by connection type, so future troubleshooting reads like a legend, not a scavenger hunt.
04
Closed out clean
Brought every connection back online inside the window, managed the cable and packaging waste on the way out, and left the server room walkable.
