The Challenge
All existing data connections had to remain unchanged to align with Sephora's IT team's current network mapping, while improving cable management during the scheduled two-day downtime.
Our Solution
Unio Tech Solutions developed a network diagram and port map detailing all existing data connections within both the communication and server racks, serving as a reference for potential issues. A two-day action plan was created to outline the necessary materials and steps for project completion, ensuring improved visibility of the patch panels and network switches. This included replacing thick patch cables with ultra-thin ones and implementing color-coded cables to visually distinguish connection types. This project was successfully completed within the targeted two-day timeframe without any issues. Unio Tech Solutions also managed all waste and recycling to maintain a clean and organized server room.
